Fences and walls are allowed to be built along property lines as long as they do not exceed the maximum height. In general, fences or walls may not exceed six feet in height along the rear and side property lines and no more than three feet solid in height or four feet high if see though within the front setback area.
Fences and walls along side property lines may not exceed three feet solid or four feet if see though, in height within the front setback area.
Height is measured from the bottom to the top of the fence or wall.
Barbed wire, razor wire, and electric fences are prohibited on fences or walls in residential based zoning districts.
