Senior Center
The Older Americans Of Lyon County is a non-profit nutrition program serving up to 125 meals daily at its Yerington dining facility and its meals on wheels delivery to the homebound. Adjacent is Yerington Manor, a non profit apartment facility serving its seniors on a sliding scale basis.

Fort Churchill And Museum
  Nevada's first and largest military post, built in 1860. Just north of Yerington.

Fishing, camping, wildlife viewing and picnic area along the beautiful Walker River.

Mason Valley Wildlife Management
Area And Fish Hatchery

Located north on 95A and then east on Miller Lane.

Walker River, Walker Lake, Lahontan Reservoir and Topaz Lake.

Parks
Mountain View Park with fishing lake, sheltered picnic area & horseshoe pit. The Veterans Park includes "FIREHOUSE NO.3" & community built "Native Plants" viewing garden.

Public Library
The Yerington facility is the central branch of the Lyon County Public Library System.

Softball, Baseball And Soccer Fields
Several fields are available for school and league play. Tournaments are often hosted and several fields have lights for night play.

      

Tennis Courts
There are (two double and one single) asphalt tennis courts and two practice courts located near Yerington High School.

Don't miss stopping at the look-out point, located at Weed Heights, to view the entire valley.
