The Yerington City Council, Planning Commission and City staff are prepared to process your land development, planning, and/or zoning applications quickly and with courtesy. Most permits for Subdivisions, Land Development, Special Use Permits, Changes of Land Use and Variances within the City limits can be processed within one month from receipt of the application. The City Council meets on the second and fourth Mondays and our Planning Commission meets on the first and third Mondays of each month. Neither board is opposed to calling a special meeting if needed to expedite a request. The City has its own Public Works Department, Building Department, and Police Department, all of whom are prepared to assist in processing applications and working with projects as they proceed through the construction or renovation stage to completion. | |

The Yerington Master Plan is a 2.4 mega-byte (Microsoft Word .doc) document
and is on this web site for your information only. The certified,
updated, version of the plan can be obtained at Yerington City Hall at a cost
of $21.00. The certified copy's are numbered and, once purchased, are
kept up to date by city staff free of charge.
(Please note that if your computer doesn't have all the fonts and formatting the Master Plan was written with, it will display differently than intended as your computer will display it with a substitute font.) | |
